Do you know someone wrestling with anxious thoughts or depression? Is anyone in your family living with a diagnosis of chronic or terminal illness?

Living well long term, when things are tough, means building into life sources of joy, comfort and hope.

I routinely ask myself: What can I read to nourish my soul? Is there an activity I can do, in spite of my challenges, that makes me sparkle inside?

Planning special days is nice, but I believe it’s important to pull happiness into your daily schedule, rather than yo-yoing between occasional great adventures and the dullness of a depressing routine.

What did you love when you were little?

What made you smile?

Can you pull a little of that into life today? And tomorrow? And the next day?
